Movie Report
Dulha Mil Gaya is a film written and directed by debutant director Muddassar Aziz. The script of the film is a mixture of some old hit bollywood films like Naseeb Apna Apna, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge etc. Even then Dulha Mil Gaya is low on fuel. Muddassar Aziz tried to serve the tested stuff but it didn’t work at all.
The film revelas the story of four characters, Donsai [Fardeen Khan], a rich playboy is petrified with terms like marriage and long-term relationships. Samarpreet [Ishita Sharma] a quintessential Punjabi girl, for whom relationships are to be cherished. Shimmer [Sushmita Sen] a diva from the world of glamour for whom love and relationships aren’t important in life as independence and success are and Pawan Raj Gandhi [Shah Rukh

Khan], a suave multi-millionaire whose heart still remains larger than his bank balance and for whom winning love is the only victory there is.
Donsai [Fardeen Khan] and Shimmer [Sushmita Sen] are friends. Donsai flies down to Punjab because there is a clause in his father’s will which says he should marry his father’s friend’s daughter Samarpreet [Ishita Sharma] and if he fails to do so or divorces within 10 years the entire property worth billions of dollars will go to some fishing company. So Bonsai flies down to Punjab and marries Samarpreet. Next day he is back in Trinidad, alone.
A few months later, Samarpreet is on her way to Trinidad to track her missing husband. She gets thrown out of Donsai’s palatial mansion when there is a party going on, is knocked down by a speeding car, wakes up at Shimmer’s home and turns into Samara to woo Donsai back. Meanwhile Pawan Raj Gandhi [Shah Rukh Khan] is waiting for Shimmer to say yes to him. This is the romance in the story.
Performance Wise, Fardeen Khan puts efforts and delivers an ok performance. Sushmita Sen looks stunning and her performance is brilliant. Ishita Sharma is perfect with her role. Shahrukh Khan is okay with his guest appearance role. Tara Sharma looks good but acting wise she is a bit weak. Vivek Vaswani is okay. Johny lever is wasted.
On the whole, Dulha Mil Gaya seems an outdated film. It is like an old product in a new pack. It is only one time watch movie.

An Average Film
by Amit Vashisht (posted on : 09-Jan-10) Rating: (Average)
Overall Dulha Mil Gaya is an average film and there is nothing new in the film. Positives: 1. Mudassar Aziz’s direction is a better than his writing. 2. Cinematography is appealing. 3. The music of mixed variety is quite groovy. Negatives 1. The writing has gaping flaws, which are difficult to absorb after a point. 2. The climax is simply too lame.

I hope that SRK will make perfect match with Sushmeeta again as they did in MAIN HOON NA , SRK looks good with his age group ladies. He is really a super star.
